Features:
One touch safety – simply load your instruments and touch start… the fully automated process means the users need to do no more than press one button! After the remarkably fast 40 minute cycle has completed, a reassuring bleep lets you know that the decontamination process has been achieved.

Auto dosing – providing precise detergent dosing that facilitates accurate cycle repeatability meaning validation of instrument washing disinfection and drying complies with the latest standards.
Single phase power supply – simply runs off a standard 13 amp power – no need for 3 phase power supply.
RO Water – optional inlet available, WRAS compliant, high performance HEPA fi lter fi tted as standard.
Drying – Circulating hot air round the chamber removes residual moisture from instruments and hand piece channels. Instrument load is dry and ready for sterilization.
Universal hand piece connector for up to 6 hand pieces, the ‘Pulse Flush System’ ensures the internal structure of the hand piece is cleaned and a fi ne mesh fi lter prevents recontamination of the hand pieces.

Medisafe Washer Disinfector - Table Top
The combination of a high-pressure spray arm and the patented Pulse Flushing System, ensures that your instruments and hand pieces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected both internally and externally. Using the Pico automated washer disinfector demonstrates your compliance with documented best practice.
Pico’s one-touch operation offers the best option for the control and repeatability of the cleaning process; which in turn can be validated and documented to provide a permanent record of your decontamination procedure.
Pre-wash – Using the high-pressure spray arm and the lumen flushing facility; cold water at a temperature no greater than 35°C is used to remove gross contamination from the external and internal parts of the instruments.
Wash – Controlled temperature wash (40-45 °C) in combination with automatically dispensed enzyme/alkaline detergent removes remaining residual bio burden inside and out.
Rinse – Both high pressure spray arm and pulsed lumen flushing are utilised to remove all process residues and detergent from the surfaces of the instrument, leaving the instrument ready for the thermal disinfection process.
Thermal disinfection – The temperature of the load is raised and held at the required disinfection holding time therefore rendering instruments safe for handling and inspection prior to the sterilisation process.
Drying (Optional)– Forced hot air is circulated within the chamber to remove residual moisture from the instruments and hand piece channels leaving the instrument load dry and ready for the sterilisation process

The ‘Pico’ Washer/Disinfector has two separate circuits; these are used for controlling and monitoring the process.This unique system allows the operator to have knowledge of the true working conditions inside the wash chamber.
Auto dosing
Precise detergent dosing to facilitate accurate cycle repeatability and therefore validation of instrument washing and disinfection to comply with the latest standards.
Universal hand piece connector
For up to 12 hand pieces, the Pulse Flush System ensures the internal structure of the hand piece is cleaned. A fine mesh filter prevents recontamination of the hand pieces.
Single phase power supply
No special infrastructure investment required. Pico connects to standard, domestic services.
